Dr. David Greenberg is an award-winning neuroscientist, psychologist, and musician, with prizes from the NIH and ESCOM. He worked as a scientific expert at Spotify for 4 years, and numerous other companies. His work on music is featured regularly in the media including The Wall Street Journal, TIME Magazine, The Atlantic, The New York Times, BBC, NPR, Discover Magazine, Business Insider, and Rolling Stone.
His research is published in leading journals including the Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences, American Psychologist, and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. He received his PhD in psychology from the University of Cambridge and has post-doctoral training in social neuroscience, clinical psychology, and music therapy. He is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Music Therapy and Musicae Scientiae. As told in his TEDx talk, music helped his life at just two-weeks old, inspiring a life of music. He is also a professional musician, and went on his first tour at age 16 through Europe.
